Muvaqqit 60 approaches time not merely as a measured value, but as a phenomenon experienced through movement, light and mechanical rhythm.
Its name is inspired by the historical muvakkit a timekeeper responsible for calculating and regulating the daily rhythm of time. The piece reinterprets this cultural legacy through contemporary kinetic art, engineering and modern craftsmanship.
At the heart of the composition is a mirror-finished, silver-plated bird mechanism crafted from brass. Moving in synchrony with the passage of time, it becomes both the mechanical and visual focal point of the piece. Layered time displays, illuminated animations and a moon-phase indicator accompany its controlled movement, transforming each minute into a brief visual ritual.
Muvaqqit 60 does not simply display time; it stages its passage.
The depth of the anthracite dial is balanced by soft-touch black surfaces and the reflective character of the silver-plated mechanism. A precision-crafted metal frame and a bespoke 4 mm tempered-glass front protect the composition while giving the piece a strong architectural presence.
Each Muvaqqit 60 is produced in limited numbers at the Omora Lusso atelier in Istanbul. Every piece is individually assembled, tested and numbered before being presented with its own certificate of authenticity.
More than a wall clock, Muvaqqit 60 is a contemporary object of time positioned at the intersection of engineering, craftsmanship and kinetic art—designed to become a living focal point within its space.

MUVAQQIT is crafted from carefully selected materials and should be handled with care. To preserve its finish, gently dust the exterior with a clean, soft microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive materials, chemical cleaners, and spraying liquids directly onto the glass or frame. Keep the piece away from excessive moisture, heat, and prolonged direct sunlight. The internal mechanism should only be serviced by OMORA LUSSO or an authorised specialist.
